Cynthia Moore Brown, the well loved and renowned storyteller, will be appearing at the Greensboro Historic Museum October 23, 2010 at 11 perform her show “Ghost Stories in the Graveyard.” She will also be appearing at Greensboro’s Historic Blandwood Mansion, located at 447 W. Washington St., Greensboro, at 7 p.m. that same day where she will be telling her stories in a show she calls “Spooky Stories in the Parlor” If you plan of attending, just know that space is limited. The mansion’s doors open at 6:45 p.m.; seating is on the floor and first come is first served. All of Cynthia’s stories, albeit spooky, are kid friendly.

Cynthia Moore Brown, besides being Greensboro’s premier storyteller and my good friend is also now my co-author. Our first book together, “Folklore and Ghost-Stories of the Piedmont” is being published by Schiffer Books Inc., and will out in Spring of 2011.

I have seen Ms. Brown in person. It is well worth a persons time to stop by and listen to her storytelling.
