NEW BOOK: “North Carolina Folklore and Storytelling”

Schiffer Publishing has just sent me a contract for my next book with them. The working title is “North Carolina Folklore and Storytelling.” What will make this book even more special for me will be that I will be writing it with the storyteller of Greensboro herself, Mrs. Cynthia Moore Brown.
Cynthia has long been a favorite performer and folk teller in Greensboro, NC. For the past 30 years her lively performances have taken her audiences to some of the spookiest and most haunted places not just in the piedmont area, but around the world as well.
An author, educator, visual artist, musician and performer Cynthia has coordinated and designed conferences, festivals and educational classes. She is oftentimes a keynote speaker at venues she attends.

This area seems to have a rich history in folklore and knowing you the book will not only be thoroughly researched but well written as well.
