The Savannah College of Art and Design, otherwise known as SCAD, is my alma mater, a fact I am proud of. I graduated there with a BA in Illustration with a minor in Art History. I had originally wanted to be a children’s book illustrator, but as you can see, I ended up taking a different path. Thanks to Google Alerts I discovered that there is a full page dedicated to me in SCAD’s Alumni Association’s Blog. Please drop by for a quick visit and leave a comment in the box.

Even though you are a dedicated researcher and an authority on a variety of supernatural subjects, there is no reason I can think of to prevent you from doing the illusration for a childrens’ book or two. Think of Bunnicula or maybe a book with a child who has a ghostly companion instead usual imaginary friend. The possibilities are many and varied.

Thank you so much for vote of confidence! Being an artist has always been important to me. I have not illustrated anything professionally since my dark humor book, “The Bloodthirsty Weasels” came out in 2005. Maybe one day I will have the opportunity to publish the second book in that series. Already written, it just needs for me to have the time to seek out a publisher for it.
