“The Encyclopedia of Vampire Mythology” Pub Date and Cover

I am happy to announce that McFarland had announced that my newest book, “The Encyclopedia of Vampire Mythology” will be released in June in 2010 as a 7×10 hardback and as an e-book download.

I have to say that I absolutely LOVE the cover that the designers over at McFarland generated for my book. The flayed cadaver is both horrific and beautiful. There is a dash of design over my name that I think is brilliant and reminiscent of Tudor jewelry. However, I am especially fond of that long, stringy, vicious looking bat along the bottom. All I can say is thank you to everyone who was involved in the design of the cover.

I had told my editor, Charlie Perdue, a long time ago that I trusted him with my book, even soliciting his help in the naming of my book and happily using his suggestion. I have never regretted turning the reigns over to him. Thank you, Charlie!
